Worship

We are a school with a strong Christian ethos where all children are welcomed, valued, happy, well-supported and enthusiastic learners. We aim to develop personal moral values through the teachings of the Christian faith and an understanding and respect for other people’s beliefs and cultures.

Worshipping together is a central part of school life. We start and finish our worship with a prayer. We plan our worship on a termly basis, ensuring our children consider a range of Christian values as a focus.  Through our worship, we aim to give our children a sense of morality and purpose.  We hugely value our close relationship with St Augustine's Church and each term hold Broxbourne Community Collective Worship services, where the school day starts at church and attend church on Sundays for specific Broxbourne Goes to Church services.  Other significant times of the year are celebrated in church, including Harvest, Christmas, Easter and our End of Term services.  We offer a Hear Our Prayer parental prayer group on the first Thursday of each half term from 9:00-9:20am in our school hall and all in our school community are welcome to attend.
